Squeeze cementing is a remedial cementing operation where cement slurry is forced under pressure into specific voids, such as perforations, casing leaks, or behind the casing (channels). The goal is to create a hydraulic seal.
Common applications include shutting off water production, repairing a poor primary cement job (detected by CBL), or fixing a casing leak. 'Bradenhead squeezes' involve squeezing down the annulus from the surface.
