Refinery tank farm

The tank farm (or offsites) is the storage area of the refinery, containing large atmospheric tanks for crude oil feed and finished products (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel).

Managing the tank farm involves blending different product streams to meet final specifications (octane, vapor pressure) and coordinating logistics for pipeline, rail, or ship export.
