Cementing unit

A cementing unit is a high-pressure pumping system used to mix cement slurry and pump it down the wellbore. These units are typically truck-mounted (for land jobs) or skid-mounted (offshore) and are equipped with precise mixing systems (recirculating mixers) to ensure the cement density is consistent throughout the job.

The unit acts as the control center during a cement job, monitoring pump rates, pressure, and density. It must reliably pump large volumes of abrasive slurry at high pressures to displace drilling mud and place cement behind the casing, ensuring zonal isolation and structural support.
