Cuttings Volume while Drilling

Volume of cuttings generated per hour that is removed from the hole while drilling. This calculation allows you to check whether the surface system can handle the level of cuttings or whether they can be removed to avoid stuck pipe

The formula used is: $$ \text{Volume} = \frac{\left(1 - \frac{\text{Porosity}}{100}\right) \times \left(\text{Hole Size} \times \left(1 + \frac{\text{Over Size}}{100}\right)\right)^2 \times \text{ROP}}{1029.4} $$
