Buoyancy Factor / Buoyant Weight of String

When running items in a fluid, the weight is reduced due to the buoyancy force acting on it

The formula used is: $$ BF = \frac{\text{Steel Density} - \text{Mud Density}}{\text{Steel Density}} $$ $$ \text{Buoyant Weight} = \text{Dry Weight} \times BF $$
